Last Christmas, we took our first family trip abroad to Aruba. We got passports, packed for island life, and celebrated Christmas in the sun instead of snow. It was one of our best vacations, and I learned what to pack.

Your Must-Have Aruba Packing List: The Essentials for Everyone

Swimsuits: At least 2-3 per person. You’ll live in them!
Reef-Safe Sunscreen: Required in Aruba to protect the coral reefs.
Sunglasses & Hats: The island sun is no joke.
Flip-Flops & Water Shoes: Perfect for beach days and rocky spots. Get the water shoes! You will need them!!
Lightweight Clothing: Breathable fabrics keep you cool.

Snorkel Gear (Optional): This was the best for local snorkeling, traveling to Baby Beach. But we rented on our official snorkel trip.

Aloe vera or after-sun gel - Save yourself some money and get this BEFORE your trip. It will be a lot more expensive in Aruba. But it is made from the aloe farms there (you can go visit them!)
Lightweight backpack or crossbody <-- I have used this one for so many trips!!
